Well, we're not all of the fans, just the most vocal, collectively. If we were all of them, they probably wouldn't have survived.Phoenix8008 wrote:Should that be Valiantfans, you think instead of just Valiant fans?Warren Simmons wrote:We wouldn't be where we were if it wasn't for the Valiant fans. He does eventually come to answer questions in the WARREN ANSWERS thread. People could always show their support for this move on Valiant's part there.

Actually, it might have been the printer. Apparently he needed a lot of hard copies when he was a collections or reprint editor at Marvellorddunlow wrote:Depends on what he's copying...kjjohanson wrote:I have it from a reliable source that he's been known to hog the photo copier. What in the name of all things holy can that be?We're going to have the biggest announcement that the company's ever done. But besides that, I don't want to hint at too much. [Laughs] I don't want to set expectations too high, but I am very, very, very happy. I'm very excited. We've got an extraordinary creative team, an extraordinary story. It's going to be a lot of fun.

I just put two and two together: Warren got the title (well deserved) because one or two former DC editors are joining the staff and they want no p!ssing contests about hierarchy. Smart move.

Screw the Hollywood film announcement idea, the massive announcement is that they're selling all VEI rights to a video game production company so that the properties can be used to make a few games and then disappear into the ether as the company goes bust.

(Anyway, current publishers would do something like make VH1 skins DLC available for $20 or something.)
