Cool article on Newsarama. Guess we know what Cary Nord's been working on now.

I think those will replace the expected issues for both of those titles in the month of October. They were both going to be starting new arcs that month. The article didn't specify though. We'll see when the October solicitations come out I guess.

I would agree. These will serve as new jumping on points after AH.

So Unity #0 is the Cary Nord project...

And another major art talent in Mann to add to the stable VEI is putting together. Pound for pound, top to bottom, is there a better group of writers, artists and colonists out there right now? I'm not sure there is.

I am disappoint.

After all the buildup i was hoping for a miniseries or at least a full story arc from Nord. Only one issue after all this time? He must draw like one page a week.

Timing is interesting. X-O the week before NYCC, and Unity the week after. This may mean we'll see NYCC exclusive editions.

Just a thought but since VEI does such a good job on the #0 issues, what if they just started putting out only #0 issues? :?

I am waiting for someone to pick up on doing the Minus One type issues, like Marvel!
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

Possibly, but are the Nord pages for this? Then maybe not? I wonder if it will focus on a couple of key eras?

It says "100 years ago" in the solicit, which would be closer to WWI...but you never know with solicits. They are notoriously untrustworthy.

Though it does make me question if Unity #0 is the same as the pages Cary Nord and VEI have posted. It could just be from an even further back sequence, but they appear to take place much more than 100 years ago.

There's so many big things in the works I wouldn't be suprised if some of these "hints" are put out there to throw us off. Either way it's exciting to see VEI's visions take form.
