Re: Tweet and Image from Robert Gill...
Looks like the Nergal-related (#deathcult) followers of year 4001.
(Probably not Jack's head... as some may be thinking.)
But there must be some connection between Nergal, death cults, and Shadowman, Samedi, loa, etc.

Shadowman Spoiler ... but maybe with Jack/Shadowman going bad - he goes from Master Darque to being the new Sword of the Death Cult. And thats why the death cult followers in future look so similargreg wrote:Looks like the Nergal-related (#deathcult) followers of year 4001.

Re: Tweet and Image from Robert Gill...
That kind of connection to the rest of the Valiant universe would help build more desire for me to see some form of Shadowman. If Jack goes evil and then becomes immortal be becoming the Sword of the god of Death, then maybe it IS Jack/Shadowman!! Can't be worse off than what we've gotten so far, right?bygranddesign wrote:Shadowman Spoiler ... but maybe with Jack/Shadowman going bad - he goes from Master Darque to being the new Sword of the Death Cult. I also noticed the sketch he posted of the Eternal Emperor. Between these and the Nord posts, I think we will be seeing much more Gilad in the near future

So whose head is the one facing away from us ....?
Looks a lot like a certain former heir to Dacia and current armor wearing weapon of mass destruction being hunted down..

1) if you look closely, the face is also paintedbygranddesign wrote:So whose head is the one facing away from us ....?

2) this appears to be the Eternal Emperor version of Gilad, so unless Aric survives for another 2000 years, its unlikely
3) Wouldn't Aric's head on the cover sell more issues than a vague possibility facing away from the reader?

In regards , to the third point though, its clever way of creating speculation by making the back of the head so similar to Aric ... so dummy's like me can go - 'Hey, maybe thats Aric?!!?"

Well, I don't really care to read into what could be going on here, but I'd love to see Eternal Warrior back as a series in the near future, so whatever this is all about, I hope it's a sign that EW will be back soon

Re: Tweet and Image from Robert Gill...
I haven't really read the boards in depth much this past couple of weeks, so unless there was some announcement that EW was returning as a standalone series during this period of time, the series is still on hiatus as far as I know.
Considering Gilad is getting plenty of page time in Unity at the moment, my guess is that these images are either from:
-) The upcoming 'The Valiant' (mini?)series
or
-) A yet/soon-to-be-announced continuation of the EW series

Re: Tweet and Image from Robert Gill...
Sorry to disappoint, but via RG himself this is just one of 3 prints he will have available at Boston Comic Con. Doesnt mean they cant be future covers, but they could just be some VALIANT art he put together for the show.
FYI, VEI will have a booth and panel at Boston CC this weekend...wish I could go! Next closest to NYCC to me and again I'm unable to go
