That would've been great! I hope that movie gets revived.

Any more thoughts on this? Any thoughts on when we might get our first Valiant movie in theaters? Also, I wonder if Bloodshot Reborn was launched because they want to have a Bloodshot title going when the movie is released. :hm:

I'd still like to see X-O first. Forget all the Iron Man comparisons that would be likely, a nicely-rounded effects budget would make that rock so hard!

I still want to see Bloodshot the most.

Harbinger would be really fun. I kept thinking of Harbinger every time I watched Push. That is a really fun movie as well. It needed a sequel.

I voted for "Bloodshot" as the first movie to be released. I realize we are still a long way off from an actual movie release, but I would think VEI would want to point new readers to a successful long-term comic book where they can learn more about the character they are going to see on the big screen. Since Jeff Lemire has said he has the first 25 issues planned out, I think they have a winner to point a new audience to. There is nothing to point them to a successful "Shadowman" comic book, unless we get a whole new series being released.

"X-O Manowar" on the big screen would be amazing too! :cloud9:

I voted for Bloodshot and here is my thought process:

1. We've heard rumors about a Bloodshot movie for a while. I'm predicting that Bloodshot will be the farthest along of all the series.
2. Bloodshot has a "plot" that is believable for the general population and doesn't require a huge leap in understanding or explanation. i.e. a man is augmented by nano-machines that help him via different methods. In my opinion the first movie needs to be about something that doesn't require a lot of "out of the box" thinking. This method will allow for the greatest "acceptance" of the new Valiant superheros, which I think is important for establishing a new comic based movie brand.
3. A&A, Harbinger, XO, and Ninjak have great movie potential, however I think A&A and Harbinger will require quite a bit of back story to develop. For the first movie we want a relatively simple back story that is not overly complex. To me Bloodshot meets that criteria. XO would make a great first movie, but as many others have pointed it an XO movie could look like an Ironman ripoff.

Anyway my :twocents:

I voted Archer & Armstrong but Bloodshot could be first. Both would be quick to do,but ill admit Bloodshot could be done probably the quickest of the 2.
If I just can't be me ,and the Arrow isn't enough.. then maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul

I'm ok with any movie actually. I just want to see a movie happen as long as the movie is done well. I want VEI to be a household name like Marvel.

I remember hearing there was a director attached to Bloodshot where as just a screenplay by JMS attached to Shadowman. Those two (With A&A in third) would be my bets on the first films

I just don't feel like Shadowman would make a good movie. I think the whole deadside, LOA, etc just might be too much for some people. I'd much rather see Bloodshot, XO, A&A, and even an Armor Hunters based movie before Shadowman.

Instead of another Crow move (remake) id rather see Shadowman. Just because the comic hasn't lit the world, there's a ton of stories to mine for a screenplay.

I want to see X-O, once they established the movie universe . So Harbinger or Bloodshot first.

I have heard Archer & Armstrong from people more involved with it than I.

I'm just glad it was pretty good, long and drawn out. (that's what she said.)

I cannot reveal my sources.. but I can utterly confirm that according to these sources what everyone is keeping secret is that they are already in post-production on the first movie..
