Immortal Enemy/Darque Connection
Any theories on possible connections between the Immortal Enemy and Master Darque? Aside from both having their dialogue balloons colored the same with black background, white text and apparently the same font or script style, I noticed in Shadowman #0 when Darque kills his father, his father's whole body including his face splits apart almost exactly like the Immortal Enemy, with the skull revealed beneath! I'm probably grabbing at straws, but I am so eager to see Darque (and Shadowman) return!

Ehhh... might be too much a stretch there. The Immortal Enemy has been around for eons. Darque and Daddy Darque are a speck on the timeline of history compared to him.
Good Morning, that's a nice tnetennba.

True, but Darque may have become an "adopted son" of the Immortal Enemy in a negative-messiah sort of way.

True, but once Darque gains the ability to travel interdimensionally (to Lyceum, through Deadside, etc.), it's not much of a stretch to imagine him moving through time, and time portals have already been established in the universe.

Sounds like you're crafting a theory that Darque is the Immortal Enemy, as a result of Darque continually gaining power and future time-travel.GammaJosh wrote:True, but once Darque gains the ability to travel interdimensionally (to Lyceum, through Deadside, etc.), it's not much of a stretch to imagine him moving through time, and time portals have already been established in the universe.

I mean, just look at Shadowman #0 and that panel where Darque's father is ripped in half.
