I heard it's arriving in their warehouse soon, whatever that means.

The game is now available from coolstuffinc.com for $39.99 with shipping for $5.99 (or free if you spend $100). I also can share a code to get 5% off an order if you message me.

Re: Valiant Deckbuilding Game? Shipped?
This is actually a good price for this. We're not talking the kind of games you can find at Toys R Us and Walmart (although those stores are starting to carry better games). As a comparison, this same website sells Legendary Marvel Deckbuilding Game for $44.49 and that game doesn't include miniatures (I don't think) like the Valiant one does.FormerReader wrote:$40 for a board game? I'm tempted. But I have no Valiant friends to play with.

Looks like my LCS (who is also a board game shop) has one of these, but they jacked up the price a little, looking for $60

Re: Valiant Deckbuilding Game? Shipped?
I was a big gamer as a kid, and a once-in-a-blue-moon tabletop gamer as an adult. Mainly, I loved the models. I'm really hoping they do some additional standalone models for this game. I'd love to paint them up.
Anyone know about any additional miniatures? My google-fu on this game is not revealing much, which suggests there needs to be some major marketing efforts on this.

That's the list price ($59.99). The link I shared was for a discount boardgame shop.TheeBaldMoose wrote:Looks like my LCS (who is also a board game shop) has one of these, but they jacked up the price a little, looking for $60

Re: Valiant Deckbuilding Game? Shipped?
Played it with my daughter the other night. It's a bit long for what it is, but with a few plays to figure it out I think it could be a lot of fun.

Re: Valiant Deckbuilding Game? Shipped?
What was your final reaction? I got the much cheaper ($18 I think it was) Ninjak versus Valiant Universe game, which calls itself a card game, but is definitely something more. I guess tabletop game is the best label. The playmats and cardboard tokens take it out of card game territory. I have only played it once and didn't shuffle well so I don't think we got a good game. I have a gaming group but even so it was hard to muster enough interest for a game.nycjadie wrote:Mine is on the way. We shall see.
I think it's a good game with some interesting dynamics but I haven't played enough to comment much.
I will say it looks GREAT and benefits hugely (I think) from poker chips as health counters rather than the slide markers that come with the game
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?
