Its been 3 matt kindt events in a row now i think, valiant needs to let some of their other writers have a turn

Lemire or Dysart would be my picks for the next one. Not that Kindt's stuff has been "bad"- I think Stalinverse is the best VEI event so far.Brapbrap wrote:Its been 3 matt kindt events in a row now i think, valiant needs to let some of their other writers have a turn

Re: First Look: RAPTURE #1
I bet they would but it takes a writer pitching a good story first and to write an event type of book the writer needs to be familiar with the Valiant Universe and its characters too. Rapture is going to be a rather small event anyway and I bet Matt Kindt will not be writing HW2 next year. Although they are not event books titles like Britannia and the upcoming Secret Weapons show Valiant is very open-minded to (new) writers and their ideas even if they're not involving known characters.Brapbrap wrote:Its been 3 matt kindt events in a row now i think, valiant needs to let some of their other writers have a turn

Re: First Look: RAPTURE #1
I'm making my stand against one shots and mini's. my obsessive compulsive disorder doesn't allow me to fill up on a miss mash of stuff in my perfectly in order comic boxes.
If it's a filler mini In a collection that goes with a ongoing that I collect like the Valiant then yes.
it does look intriguing. And the art looks good and I'm excited to see the Geomancer again.
