Re: What's your best "dollar bin" Valiant find?
Found a bunch of $4 packs today. All 90's Valiants. Here's the list:
Harbinger #15-21
Solar #21-27 and #29-35
Magnus Robot Fighter #21-26 (#25 is a Variant)
Rai and the Future Force #9-13 and #24-31
Bloodshot #8-13
Cool day. I am psyched!
I don't think there are any key issues or anything, but a good haul nonetheless.
If anybody of you pro's sees anything noteworthy in there please do let me know. Much appreciated.

4 years ago I found Harbinger 1, 2 and 3 for one Euro each in a comic shop, which was just clearing off its last American books. All in perfect condition. Best comic find I ever made.

That's pretty good. Others would know better than me, but I think those are harder to find in the wild.Gafti wrote:Found a bunch of $4 packs today. All 90's Valiants.

I don't remember there being a Magnus 25 variant? They were all the fancy silver covers.Gafti wrote:Found a bunch of $4 packs today. All 90's Valiants. Here's the list:

There was a signed version, a Valiant Validated Signature Series, with a certificate. Even those are pretty common.

Re: What's your best "dollar bin" Valiant find?
Yeah it's a silver cover. I just called it a variant because that's what I thought it was labeled in the valiant database. My bad. It looks similar to the A cover. That's probably the one I have. Probably wishful thinking.
I don't want to sound like an idiot here. (Way too late for that, I know.)
I realize they're worthless monetarily, but to me it is just cool to make a decent sized addition to my still relatively small collection.
Just a neat find for me. Im just an amateur. So just my excitement in finding these bundles today out of the blue is value enough for me at this point. I am stoked to read these.

These are worthy reads and at about 67 cents a piece, you certainly are not overpaying, especially if you don't have to pay shipping costs.Gafti wrote:Yeah it's a silver cover. Checked out a store I hadn't been too before at lunch.
Picked up a Rai #0 for $2. It looks like it would grade 9.6, maybe 9.4 on a bad day.
Also, found 9 other random VH1 books I needed at 3 for $1.

I am finding that the hunt for these old issues is as much or more fun than the actual finds themselves.
