I just picked this up for $75. It's not perfect, but appears to be a decent copy.

There's not much 'sold' data on it other than the 9.8 that sold last month. Is this a reasonable price for such? I just wanted to cross it off my list, and I know that the slabbed copies are a small fortune.

That's a good price. I think they usually go for a bit more.

Tough book --- apart from maybe a dozen copies being among the Acclaim bankruptcy items, very few copies have turned up.

$75, for any condition, is probably the most reasonable way to add that book to a collection... unless you want to wait 15 more years to see if any more copies surface. :thumb:

At one point I had 2 of these books. Long long sold.

I'd put this up as possibly the hardest (or at least top 3-5) Valiant (non-error books) pre-VEI books to find.

$75 for an impossible book to find. yes

Thanks fellas. I've had a alert on Ebay for some time, and you're right, they don't appear too often. Glad I finally have one. :)

My list is down to things like newstands and VVSS copies at this point. Plus some of the harder Shadowman, like Glow.

Nice score. Looks to be in pretty decent shape from the pics.

And it arrived in good shape. Not slabbable in any way, there's minor spine stress, but the corners are all very nice. I'm pretty happy with it.
