Can't wait. I will get one as soon as I can. It's nice that they cut the incentive number down. Might be slightly easier(cheaper) to obtain.

Cool cover
I hope the promo raises some good publicity and attention for VEI. Shame I'll never own one!

I really like the cover, and will probably buy one, but MEH... I would have liked something different. Oh well, Guess there is Shadowman to look forward to, or will he get a metal cover too?

Shadowman like he Shadowman black would be awsome.
My only gripe is I wish it was Bloodshots daughter on the cover..

Not that it would make a huge difference, but I wonder if this is limited to 1 per store like the X-O one was.

with a lower price tag, it would make it more competitive...jeremycoe wrote:Not that it would make a huge difference, but I wonder if this is limited to 1 per store like the X-O one was.

I actually wonder what this will do with the market for the X-O 1. Will it go up in value or stay the same? My guess is that with a Bloodshot metal cover, and possibly others (Shadowman would be super cool), folks will want a full set and those that missed out on X-O will have far fewer available to choose from.

Hell yeah, we need a mean looking daughter (what's her name again?) on brushed metal, too.nonplayer wrote:My only gripe is I wish it was Bloodshots daughter on the cover..
What about Magic and Bloodhound? Ideally the complete first arc gets a pre-order metal bundle.

You only said you wanted a different cover, not another brushed metal entirely.
Of course, I was exaggerating a little. At the same time I would absolutely want such metal bundle. Lemire's Bloodshot is one of my favorite series and I really like these characters especially Bloodhound, and we haven't had a Bloodhound-only cover yet.

I like the metal cover don't get me wrong. But I want Bloodshots daughter to be like wolverine kid and think she needs the emphasis. What about a family picture including blood hound. Re: Bloodshot Salvation Gets Heavy with Brushed Metal Varian
I think she will get a cover. If Valiant is smart, they will hold off until issue #3 to introduce the real character (not the baby version), and make a 1:50 with her face on the cover.
That would be boss!!!

She'll definitely get her special cover but I understand nonplayer would prefer her on a brushed metal.TheeBaldMoose wrote:I think she will get a cover. A nice family pic on a cover would be nice too.

I'm not so fussed on the family element as some here seem, but I could certainly be enthusiastic for a Bloodhound 0 issueSunlight on Snow wrote:I'm hoping for a Bloodhound Special #1 (or #0) at some point.nonplayer wrote:I like the metal cover don't get me wrong. So what's the consensus on this issue? I've seen them selling for $240-$350 (and as high as $450). Think it's going to be a sleeper? Seems a little more under the radar than X-0.
