As a few of you might remember, I have been reaching out to many of you, trying to complete my collection of pint glasses. Well, I am happy to report, collection completed as of today! I come back from a break, and this was left on my work seat!

First, the GOOD. Upon posting here (and on FB) a handful of people reached out to me, directing me to specific shops where they had seen or purchased glasses before. Simple google search later, and I had a couple of phone numbers to call. Called a handful of different stores and got a good deal of results

Now the BAD. Lots of people are looking for the Harbinger Wars set, I didn't find a single glass! I would imagine the comic book shop workers don't really know what they are looking for, as I would imagine many of the glasses were taken out of the boxes. I do not believe there are any special markings on the glasses that would show them to be Harbinger Wars glasses. It will take a trained eye (for those of you in the MN or SC area) to flush them out.

Jezzuz! the UGLY! Don't know how I could have gotten around this. I asked for special packaging, to take care of them, yet I still got crap packaging! That small box on top, it housed 3 glasses, two of which got completely destroyed! No mention of insurance, not that it would help. Well, that makes the Shadowman and A&A glasses that much more valuable, as these are barely recognizable.

But yeah, jeez, how hard is it to wrap items in bubble wrap before dropping into crumpled newspaper? The box has to be packed tight, no stuff rattling around. It should be hard to tape the darned thing closed.

Worse than that, mark the damn box fragile! All USPS knew was it was a regular box, so they kicked that *SQUEE* around, broke the glass. Bottom line, just take care of crap!

And if you happen to find a second set of the Harbinger Wars glasses, I'd be interested. Those are the last I need to finish my Valiant Glassware collection.

All I know is that I'm glad my X-O lot was sent FedEx. I asked the seller to make sure it was well packed and shipped lovingly and it was.

I will say that I contacted the comic shop, and the owner/manager emailed me back and said he found 2 extra Shadowman glasses. It would have been nice to have an extra Archer and Armstrong, but 2 Shadowman, that's still pretty darn nice! Bottom line, sure I had two glasses broken, but I am getting two more for free, AND the owner can claim the insurance. Sounds like we got ourselves a win-win here!

Well, here's an update of sorts. Back on the hunt again, as there are quite a few others that want a complete set too. I've called somewhere around 150 comic book stores around the country, and haven't found a single one yet. Some who knew what I was talking about and some who were clueless. Tomorrow is another day, so I will keep trying.

Those POP's you see are fan based and fan built. I traded some Gold's for them. I really love the Bloodshot, as it was done very well. The Divinity is pretty cool too, but wasn't done nearly as well. Still though, they are part of my collection that I love!!!
