Does anyone else feel like perhaps the casting should've been the other way around? Talk about *SQUEE* backwards.... Batista for Bloodshot and Leto for Gilad....

I agree with that. Plus who are you going to get that makes Armstrong look bigger then Batista now?

I seem to recall that Gilad stands between 6'6" and 6'8" at about 270 Lbs. He is also of middle eastern ethnicity.

So this is not far off.

Would a person coming from Anatolia some 6,000 years ago be recognized as today's Middle Eastern? Would he have been a Hittite?

Thought the same thing when I read the announcement. It'd make sense for us to see the brothers in an EW movie.

He is NOT who I envisioned as Gilad ... I would have preferred him to be Armstrong

But this very exciting nonetheless ... I can't wait to hear more details about this

I don't know where they can go to get somebody big enough now to play Armstrong ... The Mountain from GOT comes to mind but something tells me that he doesn't quite have the range to play a character like Armstrong

I don't know where they can go to get somebody big enough now to play Armstrong ... The Mountain from GOT comes to mind but something tells me that he doesn't quite have the range to play a character like Armstrong

He played a disabled guy in the Book Group (opposite the Mistress from Doctor Who). I am surprised every time I see his face on a person that is standing up.
