Have I been living under a rock? Nintendo books!?
Both these sets topped $200!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Mario-Bro ... 1438.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The Adventures books, mostly reprints, and not even in great shape across the board at $20+ each? The more collectible cardstock covers in the second group at $35 each? Last I looked these were $10 each tops, maybe a bit more for the two #1s. Now, from someone who knows how deceptively hard it is to gather full sets of these, these are still surprising results.
Mario really hot right now or something? Congrats to the seller. The other Nintendo books he had up - almost a full set - went more in line with normal.

I was also going to post some of these auctions here. I was watching as I purchased from this guy previously. I've had good experiences with this guy on some hard to find books, and the grades were pretty good from what I've purchased in the past. Managed to get a couple 9.6 and 9.8s out of him. However, these prices are bananas! I can only guess that he got some traffic on a Nintendo board somewhere. I've seen asking prices at cons for these books in crap condition, but never online. I mean, it was incredibly hard for me to sell these for $7-8 a piece in the recent past!

- I had the 1,000,000th post on this board and all I got was this lousy custom ranking.

I keep saying I need to complete my Nintendo Valiant collection and every year the price to do so keeps going up.

The Harbinger 25 1:50 at $315 raw is crazy. X-O 15 1:50 also came in at $130 for a VG copy. $211 for Archer 25 1:50.

Wow, that's some crazy money for those.
