Hello all you Valiant people.
As you can sence all around you summer is soon coming to a close and with that close, the Joys of fall will soon be apon us. And with that an oportunity to make some awsome Valiant art, advertise your favourite comic publisher and win awsome Valiant prizes.
By Popular demand it's the
Valiant pumpkin carving contest and it's soon approaching.

Are you ready?
have you sharpened your carving tools?
Planned your designs?
Bought a top loaders for your prize.
Stocked up on cheap back issues?

Well your in luck you have 13 days to prepair for the start of the contest. Which is October 1
The contest runs till Halloween night at 12:00
Carve as meny pumpkins as you want to Enter as meny times as you want.
Sept 31 I will make a full announcement indicating Prizes and rules.

2017 Valiant Pumpkin carving contest
(prize announcement)

This year the prizes are more abundant than the seeds from a gutted pumpkin.

First place prize for best pumpkin will be a armor hunters sketch cover "Primary" Reebo by Riley Rossmo with colors by David Baron and signed by Robert Venditti.
This prize was donated by Mr Anderson

First time carvers prize is a draw amongst the first time carvers.
you get entered in a draw, to win a 19"x24" Valiant lithograph worth 75.00
This was a project peice Greg from Valiantfans.com put together in 06 he's saved a few and donated one for you to win. He idderates "The last individual sale that he has on record was on Ebay in 2012 for $90 shipped"

Number draw
For each pumpkin you carve you carve you get to choose a single number 1-100 closest number to the one I picked you will win a Harbinger renagade gold. Carve more pumpkins to enter this more times.

For every two new carvers who carve a Valiant pumpkin this year I will add a prize to the pot to be won in the number draw.

Good luck all and don't forget to send your pictures around social media instagram and pintrist, twitter. Excetra.
You need a lit and un lit picture tag #valiantpumpkin2017 post your choosen number or find me to mark it down for ya.

Well moose buddy looks like so far your the only entry. Guess you won the best pumpkin. Hopefully there are some last minute entries to give you a run for your money.
I found my carving knives last night and plan to carve the pumpkin I grew.

Drove to my aunts for her to see my daughter one last time before she goes to Arizona for the winter. Got home at 7:30 and realised I didn't print a stencil.
So it's late. Maybe tonight but I have my second job to go to.

Not much turn out? How many entered this year? I only saw myself and Moose enter. Seems like you promoted it enough. Seems like the VCF Scavenger Hunt might have taken some contestants away.
