Hilarious. Best troll of comic-fans ever. I'd better have one reserved at my LCS.

It's a 1:250 variant, with a 1/store limit...not sure we will be seeing many of them.

Yeah, those are going to be pricey. DCBS's 1:250 for Ninjak is priced at $500.

That's unfortunate. I'm sure they were a mint to print though!

It is a nice twist on the return of variants. Marvel and DC were just as guilty in the 90s, but a lot of people blamed Valiant books like Bloodshot #1 and Turok #1 and X-O #0 for being "crash books". No one paid more than $10 for any of those, but now you've got variants from other publishers regularly passing $1,000 for raw copies. Most of them have nothing special in the stories... just a rare cover and people make a house payment to get one.

Seems like the perfect time to take it to the extreme... see if it's a wake-up call to crack open the books and read them. Valiant would be a big winner if it was popular to read comics again. Let's skip ahead, take variants to their logical conclusion (super everything variant), then get back to reading.

Will the 250 comics the shop has to buy returnable? If so this might be manageable but even 100 is dollars is over what I'm willing to pay. Also it's a Q and W comic so not my title.
I Miss the good old days.

This will probably be an interesting book to hunt down. Sure, Bloodshot 1:250 looks like it will START at $500, but much like XO Manowar, it will fall in price. There are enough variants (8 or 9 that I have seen so far) that will add to the total of the books. Who knows though, If there aren't many books out there, it could become real tough.

We will also have the Ninja-K book that will be going through the same 1:250 phase before we get to Q&W, so there is a great deal of info that will be out there prior to the investment. I'm thinking both the Bloodshot and the Ninja-K books could be had for $300 after they fall off in price some. Q&W might see the same, but like non-player said, it's not everyone's type of book, so it may not sell nearly as good.

Why would Bloodshot start at 500 if it is less copies to buy. More stores should do exclusive variants to get a 2nd copy at 250.

$500 is what I originally saw as a price a few weeks back on Ebay.

Well, I was actually wrong. Already have two on Ebay, for right around $250. Now I wonder if they'll drop at all.

$200-$300 looks like the current range. With the cheaper ones having a ding on the cover. I pulled the trigger at $250. May end up being slightly over the average, but I'd rather slightly over pay than deal with the aggravation of not having one.
