Not much info. Early in the process. Russo Bros still involved, though I thought I heard they had backed out. Ant-Man and Wasp writers seem like a good fit. TBS is interesting...they’ve been pushing a lot more original programming in recent years, some more successfully than others.

Re: Live action Q&W lands on TBS
I'm of the opinion at this point (though I know many others are weary of it) that any TV shows, movies, etc are good for Valiant. In the current market, they need exposure if we all want the company to survive and these characters we love to continue.
Sadly, yes, quality may suffer at some point and for a time. But more exposure means more people tuning in to Valiant, which only can help comic sales, which increases the ability to hire/maintain top talent, etc.
I don't want to see Valiant go under a second time, so I will gladly watch comic quality dip a bit as they push other forms of media if it means long term survival of the Valiant line, universe, and ultimate the comics. Even Marvel and DC went through rough times in their history in terms of story and quality

This has all of the same information as they had last year, nothing new, nothing different...

Re: Live action Q&W lands on TBS
I don’t remember TBS being mentioned before. Can’t recall if any writers were previously attached. If they are the same ones, the fact they were involved in AM&TW could have led to a re-release of the info in conjunction with that movie.TheeBaldMoose wrote:This has all of the same information as they had last year, nothing new, nothing different...

Quantum And Woody is part of the Valiant Entertainment stable of comics which is owned by DMG Entertainment and remains one of the key superhero publishing troves not currently tied to a major studio. That could change as DMG is understood to be taking meetings around town for a bigger scenario deal.
A quick reminder of every cinematic film universe currently in development, and the studios that own/license them.I also hear the Beverly Hills-based DMG is talking with potential partners with regard to the Valiant universe and financing and producing movies based on the IP. Scenarios include DMG pacting with a studio under a first-look or a development deal.
Universal Pictures (Invinsible)(Spawn)
Paramount Pictures (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)(Hasbro)
Warner Bros Pictures (DC)
Walt Disney Pictures (Marvel)
Sony Pictures (Valiant) (Spider-Verse)
Lionsgate Films (Hellboy)
I feel like an Invinsible/Spawn crossover is bound to happen on the big screen. DC vs Marvel vs Image vs Valiant vs HellboyvsHasbro?

Re: Live action Q&W lands on TBS
The Russo's came back to this under one condition...
I heard that the contracts are being signed for this like this week so in case someone is reading this from a specific company I will not say what this is

Re: Live action Q&W lands on TBS
I can tell you that at one point,
I thought the Q&W tv show would come out before the Bloodshot flick.
At one point this was almost a slam dunk.
Some BIG “names” attached and “maybe-ed”.

I'm looking forward to this, a live-action Q+W series will be cool
But I don't know what TBS is.

It would likely end up somewhere else for international distribution, right? Or through some streaming service, perhaps.Shadowman99 wrote:Oh right, thanks We don't have that in England as far as I'm aware.mkb28 wrote:Turner Broadcasting Station.
