Life And Death Of Toyo Harada preview!!!
YES!!! Finally, a return to the Dinesh/Warren brand of storytelling (even if it's just this last time). I've been waiting so long for the new DMG/Valiant to release this...and it doesn't disappoint. Great art, great storytelling, great opening. Maybe we'll have something else to talk about for a bit, instead of hirings and quittings.

I'm frankly surprised they've left Harada on the sidelines as long as they did. His story is basically the most important one in the Valiant Universe and after Imperium abruptly ended it's had virtually zero impact on the rest of the universe. And what the hell is Solomon up to? That's another Harbinger Wars II plot point that went nowhere.

I agree. He threatened the leaders of the world, took control of an aircraft carrier, and took over Somalia. There's no way the powers that be (any of them!) would sit idly by. Especially when they have Unity/Bloodshot Squad/Deathmate/X-O at their disposal.Funcha wrote:I'm frankly surprised they've left Harada on the sidelines as long as they did. A long time coming. Really looking forward to this!
It really is a shame that Harada got jettisoned into limbo for so long. I hope this series title is metaphoric somehow.

I hope the numbers are good on this series and exceed dgm expectations in a way that gives them a wow moment. O so this is good comics book meterial. And continue down a path of producing good stories in their comicsgrendeljd wrote:A long time coming. Really looking forward to this!

Hopefully the actor playing Harada in the movie gets announced around the time this is released. Nothing like a little movie buzz to generate interest!

I think this is part of this month's order from... wherever you order from. So if you want to read it, ordering I am pretty sure is now. Also, I think the first issue is included in this month's DCBS Valiant bundle. Just a head's up.
