20+ years of Valiant website... too frustrating?

Post by greg »

My http://www.ValiantComics.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; fan website turns 20 this year, and I had a Valiant fan website on other servers before that one... and I'm pretty sure that the whole thing is a combination of broken pages, too many links that are too hard to find, out-of-date info, and a few pages that actually work... leaving the whole thing really frustrating.

So, I have started http://www.Valiant101.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to get back to the basics.

Let me know what you guys think.

Was going to search for something.
Then got scared, didn't want to crash site ~ or wait 5 min ~ like the old days :P
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Well done, Greg! I can still remember the excitement of exploring the site back in 2012 and printing out all the checklists to start my hunt for the original Valiant. :cloud9:

I have to dare you, Greg- you have to find the time in your life to go and write a Valiant history book. Seriously, you are the guy who could do it, and we would kickstart the heck out of it.

Congrats on another awesome source for Valiant stuff. :thumb:

I wouldn’t be surprised if someone else here had been working on such a book for many years now.. :?

I’m looking at you paulsmith.
It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

Sometimes I think about selling off parts of my complete, regular issue 91-16 run. Then I see stuff like Valiant 101, and I know the run is going nowhere. Great job as always, Greg.
