Re: Bloodshot movie test screening reviews
Did Elveen end up getting his two seconds of silver screen fame in the film in the end? Anyone remember the OTV podcast where he was talking about that. That's all I want to see from the Bloodshot movie, I don't care what else happens in it or what it's like (joke)

Re: Bloodshot movie test screening reviews
Unfortunate no.
I had the offer, if I was there I could have gotten a walk on.
But there was zero chance I would be allowed to go to South Af by my family.
With my lack of immune system, I might not be allowed to even get the required shots.
I do treasure the experiences of watching the flick and the conversations with the director, the producer and the two editors. My girl and I had a 45 min conversation with those dudes after.

Glad a couple of you guys got to see the full film, even if it ends up tweaked more for theatrical release. I got to see a short clip of it sans-effects when I was in LA last November and ran into Dinesh at Designer Con. I think it will be a fun film for sure.

Man, it's a shame you never got the chance to be in the film as that 'first fatality' but that is a hell of a distance to go for two seconds of screen time, I wouldn't have made the trip for it, even though it'd have been my first experience on set at a fully-fledged silver screen flick. Nice that the offer was kept open to you at least, and meeting the director and stuff sounds like it was fun.grendeljd wrote:Thats really cool, dude.Elveen wrote:Unfortunate no.

Easily one of my best and most favorite "comic related" experiences.
Someday, I'll get to tell the entire story.

Maybe you should 'tell' it via the medium of self-published indy comicElveen wrote:It was beyond GREAT.Shadowman99 wrote:Man, it's a shame you never got the chance to be in the film as that 'first fatality' but that is a hell of a distance to go for two seconds of screen time, I wouldn't have made the trip for it, even though it'd have been my first experience on set at a fully-fledged silver screen flick. I think Shooter should get a cameo appearance in every Valiant movie (ala Stan Lee with Marvel).

Re: Bloodshot movie test screening reviews
So, why do you think they had to create a new character for the movie which has not been in the comic books? The character, played by Sam Heughan, of Corporal Harlan Shifflet appears to be new.
In an interview with Parade Sam says “.....It’s a really iconic character that plays a new superhero, or supervillain maybe."
He also says he had to fight Vin Diesel a lot.
Possible set up as a future villain?

Is it possible that this is misdirection and that he is Ninjak? I could see him in that role.Juki wrote:So, why do you think they had to create a new character for the movie which has not been in the comic books? The character, played by Sam Heughan, of Corporal Harlan Shifflet appears to be new.

That would be cool. But, I don't think Sony has the license to have Ninjak in their movie. Unless something has changed.... I thought Sony only had the rights to the characters for Bloodshot, Harbinger, and Harbinger Wars for 5 movies only.

I'm hoping there will be a trailer dropping in time for Spider-Man: Far from Home. We're 8 months out now!

DMG will be listed as executive producer or something similar, but they had nothing to do with the movie, story, filming, etc.Ramses818 wrote:Yes. 100%. It has been stated before.mramsterdam wrote: Can someone tell me 100% DMG had nothing to do with the movie?
