Man, I would LOVE a HARD Corps mini, just something with an origin, and something to give them direction. Maybe they become something of their own.Shadowman99 wrote:Apologies to all those that I caused to *SQUEE* their pants with my mention of Gen 0. As I clearly stated, it was just used as an example of a "non-main character/group". I'm not really expecting that title to resurface this year.
But at least I know how to upset everyone here now.
Dr. Mirage seems a fair bet. Maybe another Faith mini [ ] Maybe Q+W or HARD Corps?

Maybe pitching the HARD Corps against Bloodshot again would be a good next step in moving the Rising Spirit/Omen plotline forward.TheeBaldMoose wrote:Man, I would LOVE a HARD Corps mini, just something with an origin, and something to give them direction. Hells yea! It may have started out as a joke, but wouldn't it be great to get SOMETHING. We know who they are and (for the most part) where they came from and motivations, but I would love for them to no longer be the puppet of the government/contractor. Maybe instead of always being a part of something (ie PRS/Omen), they strike out on their own as guns for hire or something like that.agent_graves wrote:kjjohanson wrote:Neela, Timewalker.+1 on all those picks!Dallow Spicer1 wrote:Hopefully (and I’m pretty sure) a Harbinger related book, Savage and Hard Corps

I don't quite know, but their story needs to be told!!
And seriously, we've got War Monger's story, and she was a very small character, up until this recent story. At least HARD Corps are players in a good handful of books (Bloodshot oriented)

+1 on the idea of a HARD Corps series - even a mini-series would be great! And I really like the idea of separating them out from a government run operation used mainly to hunt down psiots. So much potential to be more than that.TheeBaldMoose wrote:Hells yea! It may have started out as a joke, but wouldn't it be great to get SOMETHING. I was under the impression that they ended the run because Diggle was leaving the book prematurely & they didn't have a plan B to keep it going.

Sector South - by Matt Kindt
A title that sounds like it will be a sequel to Rai and Fallen World, but (surprise!) instead we find out the secret Kindt-reveal title will be "Sect Or South" where the reader doesn't know whether a group of angry wealthy country music fans are part of the 1%.
Once we're sure the group is just standard southern rednecks, not Sect, the second Kindt-reveal will be that, yes, they are just rednecks from the south... of Mars!
The third Kindt-reveal is that they are in the future, but it's the year 3000 not 4000...and it's all loosely connected to Futurama because the Goat has been mind-transferred to a Buggalo on the Wong's ranch. Zapp Brannigan will appear in the background of a panel and readers will debate whether that was Magnus.
Will the GK3 finally return to Valiant in 3021!?!

That's right, it's the Inevi-Table, next year from Valiant!
All Valiant #1 ultra-super premium variant issues in 2020 will be made of wood, with small fold-out legs on the back. Don't have a good place to read your Valiant books? Get an Inevi-Table variant from Valiant in 2020!
(Any resemblance to Kramer's coffee table book about coffee tables is purely coincidental.)
