Stupid? Question about Bloodshot movie.

Post by Phantom »

Is their any information about other characters that appear in the film?
Have I missed something, or nothing has been said

I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Check out IMDB’s page. They have a few character names listed, but not much info on other characters from the comics.

I'm just glad it was pretty good, long and drawn out. (that's what she said.)

New characters for the movie...chainsaw is there as the team. That's the spec for the movie. If you want to invest then look for Harbinger Wars as that's the end game. I am surprised they haven't started talking about the sequel yet.. when will that news happen I wonder?

It's wayyy early for that, and I suspect that the studio wants to be even more now careful given Hellboy's recent dismal performance and the fact that even DC movies have been subject to major criticism. What they have going for them is a somewhat bankable genre actor (I only say somewhat because Diesel has had a few bombs here and there, but he does reliably make sci-fi flicks), a launch property, and a really solid stable and creative direction based on the books. The point is that they've got a solid foundation, but let's face it - it's not a sure thing as far as audience reception, yet.

Yea, I have heard that they will wait and see how this movie goes before lining up the Harbinger movie. If this can do well in a global sense, then we should be OK

I know it's a small sample size but the audience I was with was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone liked the movie.

Considering the fact that Chainsaw was dispatched in their first VEI arc, and that even recurring Marvel and DC villains tend to be eliminated in whatever movie they appear in (with some exceptions), Acclaim Bloodshot #2 & 3 will probably get a temporary boost and then drop back down.

One potential undervalued book is Acclaim Bloodshot #1, the first "Ray Garrison"
If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.
