I know this is a long shot but...
Based on this twitter post, could Eric Heisserer be coming back?
Part of me really want this to be true. But, as per the topic title, I am guessing that this is a long shot.

I'm reading that more as a "I wish things had gone differently" post. But who knows. In time maybe?jxm640 wrote:Based on this twitter post, could Eric Heisserer be coming back?

If you're not a *SQUEE*, you're okay with me.

I read it the same way, but I really liked Heather Antos reaching out.kjjohanson wrote:I'm reading that more as a "I wish things had gone differently" post. But who knows. In time maybe?jxm640 wrote:Based on this twitter post, could Eric Heisserer be coming back?

It would certainly be welcome. Great character dynamic in his work.

I really hope Eric sees all the fans reaching out, basically begging him to get back on these books. People just love the way he writes!
Seriously, was there one derogatory thing that was said during his Secret Weapons run? If so, it was drown out by all the positives

It's not fan reaction that resulted in him leaving. It was Dinesh & co. being ousted. At least that is my understanding.TheeBaldMoose wrote:I really hope Eric sees all the fans reaching out, basically begging him to get back on these books. People just love the way he writes!

Re: I know this is a long shot but...
No, that wasn't my point. I know that it was the ousting that caused him to remove himself from writing for Valiant. It was more that his writing was so loved by the fans that there wasn't a single bad thing said by anyone. Not a critique, not a WTF are you doing, etc.
If anything, I do hope he returns, if only for a little while. I so very much enjoyed his writing, so smart.

Re: I know this is a long shot but...
I can also say that Eric “got it”.
He understood what a Valiant fan is.
He understood that our love for the characters and the universe is different than most.
He was super sweet and and a very kind way about himself.
I can also say that he was WAY excited to write Secret Weapons.

Re: I know this is a long shot but...
Why is no one talking about the comment directly underneath it? Heather Antos is clearly a fan of Secret Weapons and would be down for more. The only person stopping it from happening at this point is Heiserrer.

Heiserrer isn't stopping it. VEI can draft a different writer in any time for the project.TheFerg714 wrote:Why is no one talking about the comment directly underneath it?
