Your opinion? What VEI reboot is furthest departure from VH1
I am thinking Dr Mirage but before her maybe Shadowman. I think it's a marvelous choice VE made to keep the characters roughly the same. Not merely familiar but almost the same, I think.
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

The obvious answer is Quantum & Woody, since they weren't part of Valiant (VH1).

Good answers, all, and the Unity one caught me off guard because it isn't really a character, per se, but man oh man you are right

Rai. This version is. I thing like the original.
Shadowman is loser to the Acclaim version than VH1.
Dr. Mirage is also a bit of a departure even beyond the gender switch.
Livewire is very different.
Unity and Deathmate seem more like preservation of an IP than any sort of “reboot”.
Bloodshot as a character is pretty similar but the Angelo Mortalli/mafia angle is missing.
Q+W just wasn’t any good, even though it wasn’t THAT big of a departure overall.

I didn't want it to be a "real" part of the Valiant Universe, except as a silly show on Cartoon Network in the Valiant Universe.BugsySig wrote:Q+W just wasn’t any good, even though it wasn’t THAT big of a departure overall.
Much like Scooby Doo isn't really part of our world, it's fantasy/entertainment only... that's how Q&W should be in the Valiant Universe (in my opinion).

Savage is farthest from Turok.
Divinity is even farther from Solar!

The Destroyer. It’s almost like the VEI version never even existed.
It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

Sorry, did I miss something here or is this just a tongue in cheek joke? I really don't knowAram wrote:The Destroyer. It’s almost like the VEI version never even existed.
Was 'The Destroyer' actually featured in a VEI comic somewhere and I missed it?

I believe it was briefly mentioned by the bleeding monk or Harada (recounting what the monk told him) re: what Pete would become. Way back in the 1st or second arc of Dysarts Harbinger.Shadowman99 wrote:Sorry, did I miss something here or is this just a tongue in cheek joke? I really don't knowAram wrote:The Destroyer.
