Is it possible that color separations are also page separations?
Could the black ink being applied to the back cover (like a stamp or screen print) be a separate page directly next to the black ink being applied to the front cover (which was missing, in this case)?

We currently picture the front and back cover being printed at the same time from left-to-right or whatever, but what if they were "stamped" onto the rolls of paper and the "left stamp" was missing black.

I can't draw it, but something like:

[-----machine-----]
[cover][backcover]
**stamping motion**
[full cover paper roll]

Makes sense. So many weird printing processes were happening back then. It was always odd how there wasn't a premium variant for Rai 0, very slim chance this is evidence someone was tinkering just in case? :?
