Bunn's batting 50/50 for me. I'm intrigued, but hesitant.

Shadowman+Jon Davis Hunt

Sold!! I mean, it’s Shadowman, so I was on board regardless, but I’m a big fan of Hunt’s art so, I’m looking forward to this even more now... :thumb:

Oh, man...

Can I break nearly 30 years of Valiant completionism to skip this? I hated Hunt's work on Wildstorm and Bunn never works for me.

I doubt it, but, man, Iam not going to like this at all. Maybe I'll have the bar so low they exceed?

I am all about this. Cullen Bunn's work on Scarlet Spider circa 2013 was some of the strongest comics I have ever read. And it sounds like it's gonna be "one and done" stories which will either be a strength or a weakness. Unfamiliar with the artist, but the previews are gorgeous.
Manga, comics, who cares? They're pretty much the same thing.

Bunn mediocre on Punk Mambo, bad reviews of Roku. Artist looks cartoony and not very ‘horror’. Shadowman looks like a boy based on the previews. Skipping this one.

i love shadowman. this is such a bummer. skip city for me unless a preview looks good. bunn is such a middle of the road choice and the artist looks ok but not the right style for shadowman or really even valiant.

I had the 1,000,000th post on this board and all I got was this lousy custom ranking.

I liked Punk Mambo, but Roku was terrible. Bunn is much better with horror than fantasy, and I'm Shadowman should be right in his wheelhouse.

I really liked the Punk Mambo mini-series but couldn't get past the first issue of Roku. I think the line art style is an interesting choice for this, I like the look in the preview images and I am up for giving it a chance. Colours are gorgeous as usual from Jordie.

VMG continues to set the bar disappointingly low for my expectations overall in general since the takeover, but I'm hoping this turns out good still as a fan of the character. I give their books a short leash these days though when I do try them out - and as always, sorry to be negative. I do prefer to stay silent when I don't like a thing, but I am still a Valiant fan and try to hope for the best anyway.
