Ninja-K and Unit-Y query

Post by jrnewto »

Similar to MI-6's Ninja Programme, given Unity were revealed to be Unit-Y, was there a Unit-A to Unit-X?

The arc of Unity that included the character now known as the Forgotten Queen, showed many iterations of Unit- ... there were quite a few leading up to the WWI (or was it WWII?) Unit-Y team for which the “modern” team was named.

Recall which specific issue # of Unity? And were the iterations given different letter assignations besides "Y"?

So Unity 0 had the 1st Unit-Y IIRC. Unity #19-22 was the War Monger arc. I’m not sure if they were given different Unit- designations.

Good question, dude. I don't know nothing but good question.

Ironically, I'm about 3 pages in to Unity Zero via the TPB. I just read the Unit-Y part. That's a great retcon. Made me almost laugh. I wonder if that was always an idea VEI had. Anyone know?
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

That HS to be straight out of Matt Kindt’s mind. He loves acronyms/word play in the titles of his books: Ninja-K, Unit-Y, Mind MGMT, Dept. H, Pastaways, etc.
