8 years ago today, VEI XO Manowar #1 was released. Sonic Dan posted on Twitter about it and Dino responded with this:
So this was on top of Gilad appearing as a soldier on horseback in the issue, and the rumored Aram appearance on the back of the wraparound second printing.
Anyone want to post a shot of the “cell” he’s speaking of? I remember Aric being in there with several others. Wonder who it could have been? Maybe Dino himself will chime in!

There is only one page on "the pens" in XO #1 , with only one panel showing multiple possible characters with a second panel that has Aric and a repeat cellmate.

My photos posted successfully over on the Everything Else board. Weird.
I have a partial theory. The guy in the dearskin pants and chest ornament looks vaguely Maya or Aztec or something. He is in the other panel with Aric. For him to appear twice suggests he might be important. Also the artist took the time to draw him so elaborate.
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

I actually had that thought myself, more or less. That he was also intentionally drawn, and thus a legitimate candidate.
One question about that... aren't pale Japanese fairly common?
