Rai 0 in CGC down in price?

Haven’t looked at prices on that book in a few years. Was surprised it appears to be down in value. Thoughts?

Post-movie slump, particularly as the CGC census kept rising the whole time.

Who's buying the Bloodshot first appearance(s) for top dollar when the movie is three months old and they already got one? :D

Last year I had two 9.8s graded of each, and I was happy to sell three of the four. I didn’t think there was any chance Rai 0 could maintain that price when there are so many high grade raws our there....it didn’t take long for the market to be flooded and the spec guys to quickly fade away.....

I’ll say that I’m surprised that bloodshot gold still sells for as much as it does! That book could have been had on these boards for $20-25 for years!

yes I noticed the same thing. Rai 0 down in price. But some seems to be up also like the X-O Manowar and Harbinger seem to be way up in price.

Mintz killed spec on Bloodshot when he took the rights to Paramount. The reason spec is up on Harbi her, XO is because people have hope...that too will fade when they find out more about Mintz. Get it if you can.

This happens all the time.

Movie hype ==> spike in demand ==> spike in submissions ==> record sales ==> plateau ==> movie release

This leads to:

A. SUPER spike in interest due to the potential for multiple films ==> continued sales/submissions.

or

B. DECREASE in sales/submissions do to limited (or no) potential for multiple films (or the film has failed to capture a standalone cult following) ==> decline in sales due over saturation of product with limited customer demand.

I buy/sell stocks quite a bit, and can tell you that this pattern is NOT unique to comic books or sports cards.
