I did a trademark search today which I do time to time to see if I can get any clues as to what we might be seeing in the future, and it looks as if Valiant has let the trademark for Divinity to expire.

Oh, don’t say that out loud. Nicky B the IP film-flam man will be publishing a Divinity mini-series.

I thought trademarks don't expire as long as the mark is still being used. No?

I was told by Robert and Heather, that plans were in place, and a book was being developed. So much has changed since then (6 months or so ago) we shall see... :?

Hands down, my favorite Vaiant character. Sh!ts frustrating... :censored:

Didn't Divinity make clear during HW2 he would not interfere with the VU anymore?!?
(But we all know Sabbas is Divinity's doing.)

Anyhow......

Date of First Use is FEB 2015. Weird.

Does this look like someone actually asked to abandon the trademark on August 4, 2017.

Divinity #0 came out August 16 and the title in the indicia certainly isn't carrying the "TM" anymore.
