According to Bad Idea account on Twitter and Dinesh. This is out of the blur as VDitti was writing the second Hank Howard Pizza Detective story.

Announcement says they’ll continue publishing until the end of the year, doesn’t say why it’s ending.

Maybe Dinesh has bought Valiant back?!!

Disappointing news though if Bad Idea is over, it looked very promising.

Sounds like code for another marketing stunt that I'll, none the less, be happy to jump all over. How about name change to Horrible Idea?

Why go right to Horrible Idea when "Worse Idea", "Even Worse Idea", and "Worst Idea" are available to get you up to the year 2030 before unleashing "Horrible Idea"?

So Horrible > Worse? We will need a negative adjective ranking to sort this out. Or Bad Idea could do a 180 and announce MARVEL-ous Idea!

Is it another marketing tactic in some way?

Doesn’t make any sense as it seemed to be going according to plan, books sold out, got the attention of the comics media etc

I wanted to support the effort but when I started reading about how difficult it would be to purchase the initial issues, I didn't even try.

I think the scarcity thing was bad idea. "Look how hard it will be to get our product!" is not a selling point.

I wish the crew all the best and sincerely hope they've somehow managed to buy back Valiant.

What is with this line of reasoning? It's literally not hard at all to get these books, you just have to put in a little bit of effort. My LCS is stocked full of every Bad Idea issue that has been released so far.

When I saw these headlines yesterday, I decided to buy a CGC 9.8 copy of Eniac #1. I wanted to have one for my collection and thought if this is the end, it might be nice to have one.
