Like old times...a Q+W question
I've puzzled over this a few times, more than is probably reasonable, but I don't think I've ever asked anywhere.
I think among their superpowers they developed, that Quantum and Woody are virtually indestructible. I just don't think they ever really noticed, which is SO Quantum and Woody.
But they routinely survived falls and things that didn't make sense, even suspending my disbelief.
I have some evidence to submit for your comment, but I have a bad glare on my phone haha

I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?

So you’re suggesting that the power bands provide sort of an aura shield of protection around its wearer. Interesting…

Didn’t the way they got their powers fundamentally change the matter of which their bodies were made?

Re: Like old times...a Q+W question
My reply to you is pretty much in line with Chiclo's response. I don't think it's an aura, and not quite from the power bands directly, but of course anything is possible including my marbles being scrambled.
The way I see it their molecules unravel after...what was it...a day? There the KLANG resets the molecules to super-compact and indestructible. They are probably mortal again...neither compact nor unraveling...about an hour before time to KLANG

Exactly! See my response to Geo.
My first inkling that something weird was going on (even more than a flying talking goat with laser eyes) was in THE DELINQUENTS when Armstrong uses a tree trunk like a baseball bat and knocks Woody several stories into the air, through a roof, and he's barely scratched. I mean, this is a comic, but I'm enjoying analyzing it
