Finally, I have a Ninjak ring

I'm just here to gloat a little. After 30 years, i finally have a Ninjak ring. This will complement my original and new X-O Manowar rings and my Shadowman necklace.

Congrats!

How many rings are there?

Only Ninjak & X-O, or more?

I remember VEI putting out an X-O ring, did they put out any others?

(just VEI, I remember/have several of the 90s era rings)

Great pick up. I got lucky and found a few of these over the years. They just don't go up for sale very often. I've been looking for the Silver X-O Manowar ring forever.

I wasn't aware there was a silver X-O Manowar ring. I have been looking for the Ninjak one for a long time and saw it came up on eBay. I didn't think it was too badly priced, so I just jumped on it.

I missed out when they were first offered, so I'm pretty happy now i have it.

The silver rings are more scarce than hen’s teeth. I’ll post a picture of mine when I get home. I even have a 14k gold one too. :o

There’s another member here, Rufus, that has an enviable collection of rings. He doesn’t post much/at all anymore though.

I made it.

A while back, I had access to the equipment so I decided to try my hand at lost wax/investment casting. It certainly isn’t perfect but not too bad for my first time. Unfortunately this project was done before the advent of smartphones (at least before I had one) so I don’t have any step by step pictures of the process. It was super duper time consuming but all in all a worthwhile endeavor.

And congrats on your Ninjak ring. The rings from back in the day are just really cool. Valiant was certainly ahead of it’s time. The fact that this sort of stuff is still sought after speaks volumes.

Thanks :D .

I love all that type of stuff. I've also got all the Green Lantern rings, the Simpsons stonecutter ring, Two Face's silver dollar and other similar things.

But nothing like a gold or silver X-O Manowar ring. They look great and i'm :) m very envious

And just to add a little bit of board trivia....

A long time ago, Bob Layton sold his gold plated X-O ring to someone here. I think. It was probably Dinesh.
