BWS Original Cover - Eternal Warrior 6

There was a listing on Heritage for this cover that was pulled at the last minute. They removed it from sale and pulled it from the website. I have an email on it, as I was watching it. It was listed as the original cover, but it looked like it might have been the pencils. Anyone know why they pulled it?

There was also a great Magnus 1 interior that went for $3K+ and a Bart Seats page showing X-O wrap around Aric. Super cool. Both went for above what I thought they would.

Interesting indeed, if memory serves me correctly I believe Dinesh owns that cover, and the cover for E.W. #7 as well.

Saw it a while back and it was over 3000 already then. Above what I thought (and out of my reach), but still I am surprised there was not more last-minute bidding.

Looks like the EW piece is back on the block:
https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comi ... ailystatus
It's now labeled as a prelim (a detailed one at that) and I presume that is why it was relisted.

I was pretty sure it was a prelim. I’ve seen the EW4 prelim, and it’s along those lines. Thanks, Adam!

I called Heritage and told them it was only a prelim and once they checked into it they took it down. I imagine it will still draw a lot of interest since it's BWS

Nice sale! Somewhere on these boards, I think the original purchase from the BWS gallery site is documented. I'm not savvy enough to find it, however.

BWS had it for $750 on his website about 20 years ago. I can't remember if he kept it listed even after it sold.
