Wanted to share this item I bought on ebay. I never seen it before but google found images on SonicDan's website...he seems to have everything ;)

The ebay item was described as a "Media Kit" that contains:
  • Black H.A.R.D. Corps preview poster
  • Red Valiant Folder
  • Unity Promo Card
  • Voyager Communications business card Seymour Miles
  • Custom Comics comic book
  • Photocopied Wizard 12 information

$30, lol! I didnt know how rare it was. I was looking through VH1 poster listings on ebay and saw the media kit included in one of the listings.

Does there happen to be a date on that custom comics pamphlet? It seems to me to be from a much earlier era than the other items. Although I guess it's possible Voyager was still able to take on custom comics work as late as Unity, but I seriously doubt it.

I had the same thought. Thinking this might be a collection of employee swag or something. Different eras.

I was thinking that Cheesasaurus Rex (at least the second one) was a 1993 creation, which would definitely push "Custom Comics" past Unity, but that had a different "feel" than these items.

The "Custom Comics" folded page (brochure?) looks like it was created around 1991 even though it hints at the Ernie Colon coloring capabilities (the "or realistic..." panel) from late Unity (mid-1992). It mentions "premiums" and "attached to the cover" (which hints at Bloodshot #1 and Turok #1 methods). Val the Valiant lion (spokescat) wasn't used anywhere besides "custom comics", and the VALIANT logo is the original (1990-1991) without the font change and without the box (and normal upper left location).

The red Valiant folder definitely feels like 1992, but I could definitely see how someone (Seymour Miles) would grab old and new items (anything 1990 or later) and stick them in a folder for marketing.
