Good story, runs pretty close to mine. I just barely beat the prices to get all the Harbingers, too ... even managed a second set and sent in the coupons.

I miss them. Especially Peter David's column "But I Digress..."

Don't worry about that. I am a transplant. Not at all a Steelers fan. My wife is, but my Dad raised me as a Yankees and Giants fan, so....

Oh, crap. That's right. facepalm

You're a YANKEE fan? that makes the beating MUCH worse because i'm a Red Sox fan  :kidaround:
Red Sox: 7
Yankees: 27

Don't worry. I can play.

Yankee fans have to enjoy the past right now, since the present SUCKS.
I don't know if I would call retiring the world's greatest closer 'sucks.'

They missed the playoffs. Red Sox fans certainly know what that's about. :)
 In thy face, Sox fan. :kidaround:
I come from a country with absolutely no tradition in baseball. But I consider myself a Yankees fan, since I was very little. Blame it on the fact that they are one of the most successful sports teams in the world and the team that gave the game it's biggest legends.
MO's last game and pitch was friggin' beautiful to watch, just a great sports moment.

Yankee Stadium, CBGBs and (now) VEI offices- here's my " NY must see" tour.
(but football wise, I'm commited to Excellence and Cheating dressed in Silver and Black.)

And welcome DMZ although you're a member for far more time than me. :thumb:
