A Valiant thing happened on the way to the theater....
Valiant came into my life via a myriad of Wizard magazine ads while I was a kid. A minor influence was placed. Later on, I encountered a collection of sought-after firsts, inspired by my desire to better acquaint myself with Solar. His design was classic in approach. It left an impression, but only that. In April of this year, I came upon the first two volumes of Dysart's Harbinger. This precious volume familiarized me somewhat. As many of you know, reading these warranted a plunge into the greater Valiant Universe. Its honed precision in establishing continuity was refreshing, especially in light of oft-rebooted mainstream comics. For instance, the journey of X-O from scourge to hero was unexepected in that it occurred organically. Valiant currently isn't beholden to a prerequisite mythology, and it allows for natural narrative progression. It's enough that I'll be in it for the long haul.

First new member of the NEW YEAR!
Welcome.
Xo is my favourite as well. Loved the series, looking forward to the relaunch.
Harbinger was great, but I was not into it back in the day.
Loved Imperium.
Anyway, welcome, and keep posting.
