Journey Into Mystery #85 CGC 4.5 | Marvel (10/1962)
1st appearances of: Loki, Odin, Asgard & Heimdall
Another book I submitted sometime back after having it in my pc for sometime. I love super keys like this one and its analogs - Iron Man #55, Strange Tales #135, etc. Another book that only went through a quick press by CCS.
This example is a solid way to get into this super key.
$1250 shipped in the Cont U S.

Congrats
I personally think this book is prime for a BIG price adjustment
It's been undervalued so long
I'm holding onto my 9.2 CGC book for now.

It's a great super key. I've felt that way about Strange Tales #135 too. That is a book I feel has never gotten it's due. Everything under the sun regarding S.H.I.E.L.D. first appeared in that book.betterthanezra wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 8:21:35 am Congrats

I'm going to be unloading about 25 - 30 investment grade keys I bought for this purpose about 15 years ago now. So there's more books like this to come out in a slow trickle.

If anybody has a raw copy of JIM 85, please send a PM. I need to add a lower to mid-grade copy to the collection.

You might want to consider finding a harshly graded slab and cracking it if you want a raw. Throw the label in the back of the bag after you do.
There's this stigma about breaking slabs open, but the real truth is that the native intent was simply to give a reliable grade and to be opened if you want.
But that thought is so outside the realm of most collector's minds that doing that is like Darkseid's anti-life equation....

Great idea IMJ. I might just try that.
