And what is the complete list of price variants?

Too many books...... :!:
Vvrs.the V uni. #1
Vvrs.the V uni. #2

Destroyer #0

Bloodshot # 30,31,32

X-O # 43
That is it... I am out. I am officially taking the price variants off from my needs list as well, leaving Eternal Warrior 327 VVSS as the only issue I need (well a Bloodshot plat but I consider that a fluke as it was never distributed). Getting down to price variants is a bit too much for me especially with an already difficult collection to compile. :? I'm just not into it THAT much. I've already taken my Visitor vs the Valiant Universe $2.50 out of the box.

Thanks. Additions made. We're not officially adding scans yet, but I feel that'd be a nice addition.

Are we getting to the point where we can say that any valiant book with a bar code on the cover should have a newsstand? (i know we've got 'confirmed' and some aren't....but are we close to that point yet?)

I still think books that were canceled early, with no confirmed newsstand sightings yet, probably don't exist as newsstand editions.
(I.E. Armorines, Geomancer, HARDCorps, Harbinger, Psi-Lords, Rai and Dr. Mirage) Even tho' the later books from these series had the barcode.

I'm not sure about books that lasted longer like Eternal Warrior, Shadowman and Timewalker.
Nothing confirmed for these titles yet.

I would say we are not. Even excluding the titles without newsstands, I still would not dare to say that newsstands and bar cades started at the same time.

Apologies, just double checked and I should have written Turok 24 Newsstand, Not Turok 22.

If you could correct that would be great :thumb:

I noticed when looking to complete my collection that two comic shops in my area have a lot of newsstand copies. I had to pass on the ones I needed beacause I only want a direct market collection.

I still don't understand why you would pass on newsstand copies. If you get them, you could trade them for at least two or three other direct editions of books you need, as the newsstand books have more value since they are harder to find.

I've got a Bloodshot 38 and 42 that I would consider trading for the right price

here's a new one, according to Squirrel, Bloodshot #33 also has a price variant. The direct edition has a $2.25 cover, but he has a newsstand cover with a $2.50 price. Maybe we can get Squirrel to take a picture of the book he has...
