Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I doubt that the list is complete, there are still holes in certain runs where a newsstand version hasn't been found yet.

For instance, newsstand versions have been found for Solar #46, 47, 49, 51-60. #48 and #50 haven't been verified yet, but it wouldn't make any sense for them NOT to exist.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm going through my collection this weekend to try to see what newstand books & I had a few questions...

Outcast special. Unity Lost Chapter. Captain Johner 1 & 2. Do we know if it's possible that they could have newstands?

Do we know anything about the Acclaim books? Was the newstand process still in effect for Acclaim with VH2? :?

Anything's possible, of course, but my guess would be no. It seems like they stayed away from making newsstand versions of the "oddball" stuff.

Have a couple more confirmed:

Bloodshot 49
Magnus 60
Solar 48

Couple things:

1) Perhaps Sticky status as previously mentioned and

2) Can we get a collection of scans to add to the site?

:thumb: Just thinking out loud :thumb:

I'm up to about 20 separate NS issues 8-)

Here are a few more confirmations. I picked up 5 X-O Newsstand versions today at the Baltimore con. Most notably for this list are 52, 55 & 56.

I initially passed on them because I didn't feel like spending $3 each on F to VF range books --- but at the end of the day, I had some cash left over and went back for them. Guess that was a good thing :?

I found: BloodShot 31 & 36 "Newsstand sales" and The Visitor #1 "newsstand sales". Anyone interested just hit me up, they are all doubles so I have no need for them.

Good for you Moonchild; that BS 31 is a price variant and I'm sure you can get an excellent trade item/price for it!

Nice, Just confirmed that in the price guide, I'm going to have to pull my complete BloodShot set out of storage now just to see if theres more, lol.
I'v had a few offers already, do the non price variants sell for more too? I'm thinkin I should do auction for the Price variant, whats the best thing to do?

Magnus,

I came across some mis-information. The bloodshot #49 I previously confirmed is actually a direct sale edition.

Sorry for the mix-up

I finally got off the blocks with a few NS issues and realised i had not checked all my boxes just in case.
The chances of me having any are slim being in the UK but you dont know till you check so hopefully by end of the week i will know one way or another.

Found 2 more BloodShot Newsstand Variants. Issues 38 & 39 in my Best condition/complete collection short box of BloodShot's in storage today. Dang, suprised newsstand editions were my best copies, i'v had alot of doubles of these too. What you guys think they would got for at auction? Even though they are not price variants they are newsstand BloodShots, medium-low print. what 10 bucks each? :hm:

Depends on how many want to complete their collection. Usually people can pay a bit extra for "the last few". But, the demand is low. Make sure to spread the word or you'll be stuck with your opening bid.
