I could see if the X-O # 0 is the rare Sumatran rhino ivory version...other ivory versions, as we all know, just aren't that scarce.

Good thing some of that stuff isn't bagged and board, otherwise he'd be asking a fortune.

Hahahahahahahah.

"see scans and check other listings and 100% positive feedback. This book is a product of the inability of so many scanners to work with my mac laptop and my temper. The scanner had worked perfectly then abruptly stopped. I got so mad I took a little Ruger .380 and shot the scanner. Unfortunately I forgot to take the B&B 28 out of the scanner before I shot it so the book now has a bullet hole through it. Destroyed what would have been a $700 book. What's it worth? Who knows? I'll let you decide. No returns on this one as you know exactly what you're getting. For what it's worth, you can still read the entire book and be part of a truly funny and stupid story

That's a cool page...but not at that price.
This post has been carefully constructed so as to add absolutely nothing to any discussion or topic.

WTH!

The link now leads to an auction of DC comics.

Did he just change everything around?

This guy has multiple auctions with many overlapping books.

Looks like he used the same picture for each of the auctions - no way to know which book is for which auction. :!:

Thats just one example.

And so when I asked him to see scans or pictures of the actual comics, this was his response.
The comics are in the same condition...me scanning each additional book for you is not worth my time. Thanks for looking but you shouldn't bid on my books if you have these concerns about the condition.
Thanks again for looking and hope this answers your question
It is not worth his time to provide an accurate image.

It's a shame some sellers are like that. Guess they don't really care about getting the most for their investment. At least he was polite about it.

It does make you wonder though how people like this would respond to a car salesman telling them something similar. Oh, you're interested in this used car, but want to know more about it? Sorry, it's not worth my time and you shouldn't buy it, if you have any concerns about it's condition.....

So I ended up winning one of his auctions, a small collection of A&A books for $3. No problem (although shipping was a crazy $11!). Anyway, the book are listed as "VF/NM", although he includes the caveat that "he is not a professional grader, and this is in his opinion".

When I get the books, they are packed in a manilla envelope, five (5!!) books to a bag, shoved in there. Of course, this means the corners and edges are rat earred, torn, folded, and have numerous stress marks. Clearly not NM, probably not VF. I leave a neutral comment, indicating description was not accurate and books were not packed well.

I then get this message from him - "If you had problems with the items why not get a refund. I told you from the first email you sent not to bid on my books. It's anal retentive loser comic fags like you that got me out of this hobby. Enjoy your books as they were scanned and described retard."

This is despite the fact he claims there are "no returns or exchanges". I reply indicating such, and also indicate the low cost of the books is not worth me paying return shipping. I also point out that the description was clearly inaccurate, and anyone doing ANY examination of the books should be able to see that they aren't in NM condition. Lastly, I also point out that I didn't leave a negative (although I probably should have) despite the fact the description was clearly misleading.

Sheesh, don't do business with this guy!

You know your feedback was pretty tame... it didn't warrant that response at all. :|

Can you report him to eBay (was it through their messaging system)?
