How do you know you only lost by $1? The other persons bid could have been $100 more...maybe more.

Yes, the other person could have bid a lot more but I'll never know.

This use to drive me crazy. Now, I just put in my max bid and then let it go. But it can be frustrating.
But not as frustrating as forgetting to bid!

You can always send a message if the seller has multiple copies or the buyer doesnt pay up to offer it to you.

I'm getting bad about that now for some reason...I'll put it in my watch list and space out on it even though I don't forget to get on there...VEI Reborn wrote:Daniel Jackson wrote:Done that a few times.Elveen wrote:This use to drive me crazy. Sorry. I really needed that rifle if I am going to protect my million dollar collection of Bloodshot 1s now that some nut is trying to sell them for $30 each as "rare Chromium edition" on Ebay.Chiclo wrote:I lost an elegant rifle on gunauction.com today by a single dollar.

I always bid odd numbers in cents so it helps me know if the minimum bid increment is used or if I am close. I usually snipe though anyway.

Oh I snipe. Problem with sniping is if you're too low you don't usually get a 2nd chance.R Daneel wrote:I always bid odd numbers in cents so it helps me know if the minimum bid increment is used or if I am close. I usually snipe though anyway.
I also like to use myibidder.com. Fire and forget down to the second.
Will have to start doing it in odd numbers and cents from now on.

I usually lose by 50 cents.
