New Member - Selling Our 2012-2013 Variants

Hi ValiantFans! I'm new around here, let me introduce myself. I'm Veronica, and while I like Valiant, my husband Kris is the die-hard fan. He's been collecting since he was a kid, has all of the original single issues and all of the new ones as well. He's had a lot of health problems in his 39 years (born legally blind, Type 1 diabetes, retinopathy, glaucoma, the list goes on), and now we're facing the need for him to have cataract surgery. We have decent insurance so much of it will be covered, but our portion will still be pretty hefty.

He's decided to sell his variants, mostly from 2012-2013, to help cover that cost. I'm not asking for charity here, but if you're in the market for some variants, check out our eBay store. I try to take photos as best I can and to point out any flaws. We're always happy to answer questions, though we're no experts and don't attempt to grade (to me that seems like a dangerous game to play). All issues were purchased when he worked at DCBS, so they came straight from Diamond and were immediately bagged and boarded. They have not been read or removed. We based our pricing on the guide on this site, so nothing should be totally out of line here. We took condition into account, as well as other current and recently sold eBay listings.

So I took a chance on Veronica’s books—jumped on a Bloodshot 3 Lozzi. Had her ship it out pronto cuz I had my eye on other stuff. It showed up at the door, and I ‘bout fell over it was a perfect book. So I grabbed some other stuff, and same thing: all awesome books!

That’s the thing with Veronica’s inventory: the photos on Ebay are high-resolution close-up, warts and all. Every single blemish shows up loud-and-clear. A bindery tear looked like a real problem, until it was delivered, and I could see it was nothing. I found out that Veronica and her husband have a lot of experience with comics, and worked at a large national comics mail-order retailer. I have not come across Ebay books presented more honestly than their books are.

I was about to suggest that anyone reading this message check out the Harbinger Wars 2 and 4 Perger, but now I see that someone already jumped on that issue #4.

I’m told that there are more books to follow. I will certainly be looking for them.

I purchased the Harbinger 25 from Vodkalyn a couple weeks ago. It was packed very securly and the book was in awesome shape. I definitely recommend picking up some of these books.

Thank you so much for the honest feedback! I try to be very transparent with the photos: I would MUCH rather point out any flaws beforehand. It's easier for me (no returns) and of course I want you to know what you're getting.
