This should be interesting. I could bid $10,000 right now; however, I strongly suspect that it would not be enough to win this piece.

It previously sold for 23,000 on Heritage and had an offer on the Heritage offer program of 31,000 as recently as June 15, 2019. Hope the seller made the right choice auctioning it and turning down the offers. It's not uncommon for these to seller better in the private market than in auctions. My guess is it wont go lower than 25000 and could go as high as 50000 with the movie trailer looking so good.

25K is a bottom for sure, and I’m definitely bidding on this one. Iconic. Top tier art. I’m going big in this one, and have been watching it for a few months.

It was $3,000 on Barry Windsor-Smith's website in 2003, but I don't remember if it had already sold or if it was still for sale.
