River City Comic Expo is excited to announce our 2015 Comics and Pop Culture Convention on
August 29, 2015 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock’s River Market District from
10 am to 6 pm. This year’s show is our biggest yet, with 40,000 square feet of artists, dealers,
and guests including: fan-favorite
writers and artists such as:

Gail Simone (Secret Six , Wonder Woman)
Michael Golden (Bucky O’Hare & G.I. JOE)
Robbi Rodriguez (SpiderGwen)
Bob McLeod (New Mutants)
and Little Rock’s own
Mitch Breitweiser (Adventures of Superman, Captain America)
Eisner Nominated Elizabeth Breitweiser (The Fade Out, Outcast)
John Lucas (Deadpool).

The local CW affiliate will screen 5 min of unseen Legends of Tomorrow footage and host a Q/A session.

CBCS will be verifying signatures and sketches. (Your very own Greg did it last year for us :) If you want something signed and submitted
get with me before hand)

Vendors and craftspeople from several states will be on hand with everything from Golden Age comic books to handcarved
hardwood wands. Many artists will be taking orders for commissions that will be completed that day.

A Magic: the Gathering tournament, sponsored by Game Goblins of Little Rock and featuring a
Grand Prize of $1000 will be open to players of all ages. Costume contests will be held for all
ages. Fun photo opportunities include a T.A.R.D.I.S., a Jurassic Park Tour Jeep, and “Bella”, a
fully customized 1967 Chevy Impala used in shooting episodes of the popular television series
Supernatural .

Nonprofit organizations such as the Society for Creative Anachronism and the Diamond
Garrison of the 501st Legion of Star Wars cosplayers will give demonstrations and provide
information on their membership and activities.

RCCE is also proud to partner with Pro Se Publications to sponsor this year’s PulpArk, which
features writers, artists, and other creators that are involved with keeping traditional pulp and
genre fiction alive.

Panel discussions featuring the guests and creators of both RCCE and PulpArk, as well as
cosplay experts and others will be held throughout the day.

Admission to River City Comic Expo is $5 for adults. Children under 12 are free with an adult.
