Thanks, that's exactly the kind of heart-warming Valiant community friendship I also felt in San Diego. I'm sad I missed several board members (and that absolutely includes everyone I missed at the meeting as well as everyone who could not come, we are all part of this community and it means very much to me), but I am so much more happy for the ones I met. Thanks for being my friends!

Absolutely. One piece of art from a dealer (Gonzalo Mayo pencil illo). Two from Rodney Ramos and a small high-quality pile from Jim Calafiore :D For instance the cover to Armorines 7 :D :D . BTE and XOMatic also made good scores from him (thanks Brian for leaving these great pieces for me and Chris from finding another item). And great sketches from Howard Simpson and Jim Calafiore. And an interesting item: While looking for Predator/Magnus TPBs I came across a Harbinger TPB. Figured I could at least open it to see if it was the second print. And there was a dedicated head-sketch of Zephyr by Dave Lapham. I can't understand why someone would get rid of something like that, but I had to rescue it. And I got several very nice new signatures on my special signature T-shirt I've had going for 10 years now. Surprisingly enough there were almost no queues for some big names like Neal Adams. My kids were given a book by Bernard Chang (thanks Bernard) and my son got a signed Bionicles comic (I had my two oldest kids with me most of the time and bought them some things, including a signed Donald Duck). That made their days. Actually I believe (very late after a long flight, my mind is not really working) that this is everything I picked up myself except for iBook's new Magnus novel and some reading copies of two Gold Key Turoks. That's what I picked up myself. I was also spoiled with great stuff from board members like T-shirts, promos, signed comics and a very nice Magnus print with a sketch by the artist (thanks all of you).

Sorry guys - that shirt will not be for sale. It is something I had printed up for myself for the con and a few other people.

BTW - that was an AWESOME meeting! Wait until I post pics of the Unity #0 I had signed by ALL the creators plus 3 others that were not at the meeting, but in the building...
