I am supposed to pick up TWO sketches from Neal Adams tomorrow.

:hope:

And Adam Hughes has agreed to do a sketch as well... as has Joe Jusko... as has Steve Rude... oh yeah even Rob Liefeld (who is a VERY nice guy, just wish he could draw  )

hi, what is best shipping USPS to Calgary Canada? (t3g 3s8) (and combined shipping quote if 3 games??)
Monday I am going to send my plan to invade Canada up the chain of command. Seeing as how it seems most of the Brain Trust must live in Canada, I predict that this operation will last 72 hours.

Have been on leave (as well as everybody else) and was wondering if you have already crossed North. If you crossed at Detroit that would explain it as all the peeler joints (FULL STRIP) and beer stores (5-7% ALCOHOL CONTENT) thru Windor are actually a well layed out obstacle plan for just such an event.

Now who the hell would come up with a conventional invasion plan ? I am the unconventional warfare guy... attack from behind and kiss the women on the back of the neck.

The TWO Neal Adam's sketches are BEAUTIFUL.

Neal was going to walk me around to get a few sketches but I told him that I was already out of sketchboards and was just waiting around on people who had sketchboards for over three days now...

So then I go over and remind Sean Chen and Bernard Chang (as they promised to do them tonight in the room) and Sean said 'YEAH YEAH, Neal already came over and told us to DO them... and you know, when Neal Adams says something, PEOPLE LISTEN.'

I laughed... pretty hard.

I tell ya, I got some GREAT personal time with Neal Adams this time around as well as his son Jason. Two quality people there.

Also chatted with Sean Chen a bit... I really like this guy and as ever... am a HUGE fan of his art.

So you are probably wondering what the Neal Adams pieces are.

How does Batman and Green Lantern sound ?

Personally I think that's pretty cool that Neal Adams seems to be a nice, personable kind of guy. If anyone in the comic field would be justified to have a bloated ego, it would be him. Did you get to discuss any Continuity stuff with him?

What no bids yet ?

Man, last year you guys were bidding faster than I could list auctions...

Lets fire this fund raiser UP, people !!!!

I know that the whole 'J Incident' has upset the boards but lets pull out of this and move things in a positive direction. Don't let this guy (who paints his toenails  ) further effect us or the fund raiser.

Bid... BID !!!

glad to get it started, hoping I don't win at my bids, though. Not because I don't want the items, but because I want to see more money going to the CF. Bid me up, guys! :thumb:
