I don't know if you guys have read DNAgents, but I wrote up a bit of a review of the 2008 reprint:

http://blog.newsok.com/nerdage/2011/04/ ... dent-hits/

Will Meugniot drew the series - he really draws fantastic women, especially. And, he left a comment on my facebook page, which was very cool!

Mark Evanier is one of my favorite writers, so I'll have to eventually pick these up. If I can find a nice run cheaply, I'll have to do it sometime.

Thanks you guys! The DNAgents/Crossfire series make for a pretty cool DU that should be fairly findable and affordable.

I still have 50 issues of Air Boy sitting beside my bed. When I finish them, DNAgents is on my list of Eclipse books to check out.

(Must finish MM, too...)

I have a pretty decent run of DNagents too, but not close enough
to start reading just yet.
There was always something about the book that made we wanna pick it up and i recall the un official crossover in the New Teen Titans making me want the Eclipse issues more so.

Airboy is one I want to read, but I haven't made a real effort to get them all together - kind of the same thing with Aztec Ace.

I haven't tried to scare up the post-Meugniot DNAgents yet, but if you have the first 14, it makes for a pretty good read.

Liked DNAgents, but LOVED Crossfire.

Tales of the New Teen Titans #48 (I think) had the Recombatants, which was a pretty good send-up of the DNAgents. Steve Rude art, I think. Been a while.

Aztec Ace was freakin' great.

A few months back, I finished my DNAgents collections. Then I found out I was missing one series, Whodunnit. I bought the three issues and was satisfied that I had a complete set of the DNAgents universe. Today, I was reading Hollywood Superstars from Marvel's Epic line and it takes place in the same universe as DNAgents. Now I'm wondering if there are any other series out there that shares the DNAgents universe. Here is what I have so far:

Crossfire
Crossfire and Rainbow
DNAgents
DNAgents Super Special
Hollywood Superstars
New DNAgents
Surge
Three Dimensional DNAgents

Anyone know if I'm missing anything? I also found another comic (online shops) called Many Happy Returns that features Crossfire but I'm not sure if it was ever released.

Not to comment on DNAgents, (which I really need to read one day) but reading a thread that's been bumped that began when this one did really makes me miss seeing some of the old regular posters who posted in this thread and aren't around now. :(
Valiant is the son of the New Universe.

Also, Eclipse Monthly #6 and #7 have a story for a character named Nightingale. In it, the fictional Hispanic country of Santa Avaracia is mentioned (which was shown in DNAgents) and the Sentry Squad team, along with member Emmanuel, shows up in both issues (which both are part of the DNAgents universe).

It's always fun to come across these things :)

I've always been curious about DNAgents... The LCS I went to as a kid always had a ton of them in their bargain bins, but I never got into it.
I like to draw stuff... http://grendeljd.deviantart.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

My wife likes to draw stuff too, and she is better than me! [I'm very proud of her]... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sara-Dec ... ref=stream" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sorry about that, folks. The site was acting up, and when I clicked SUBMIT a few times, it looks like it was capturing each click as a new post.

Are DNAgents worth reading and collecting? I know of one cover some appreciate more than others.

First relaunched a couple of years ago. They were at Wizard World Texas and I think I have seen exactly one thing published by them since.

Pretty typical. Makes one more appreciative of what VALIANT has done for 2+ years now :thumb:
