Adding to StarBrand's on-going thread wrt discussing & documentting recent prices and sales of Valiant comics (located here: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=35533).

Because of the explosion of issues/varients (1:20; 1:50; 1:100; 1:175; 1:200; etc) that VEI has/is releasing each month, I want to separate the discussion somewhat to better organize VH1 price/sales from VEI price/sales.

Please feel free to post your recent VEI purchas and/or sale prices in this thread, CGC or raw so that we can observe/track/guess where the VEI collectors market is going.

Lol! You're FAR superior to me when it comes to presenting a best offer! I've never been good at buying/selling for the best possible value. Oddly enough, I was/am pretty good at wooing the ladies. Seems that they would be the same skill-set, but I guess not. Lol!

Actually it's only this seller. He tipped his hand to me one day when I made a best offer on the Unity Red Preview. I had previously made a best offer on the Q&W #1 Gold that he declined. When he accepted by Unity Red offer he said..."I can throw in the Q&W #1 Gold Shipped for $150.00". Once I heard the desperation in his email I knew he wanted to move these books as quickly as possible. In fact he's already lowered the prices on the remaining two Valiant books he is trying to sell. He's got a A&A #1 Gold CGC 9.8 for sale at ~ 150.00 and a Unity #1 8-bit CGC 9.8 at ~ $99.00. I would contact him and offer about $125.00 for the A&A #1 Gold and $80 for the 8-bit Unity #1. He'd probably take them, but alas I'm out of hobby budget.

Turns out I did see that sketch when it was originally listed, but for some reason I also thought the book was a 9.6, not a 9.8.

Unfortunately, it's not the (Bloodshot) sketch I was hoping for

Yeah, I enjoy anything Valiant sketch and have been a longtime Kitson fan, so this sketch was cool for me.
