I'm not much of a statue guy, but I like that Arabian Nights Sandman.

Very cool.

The Destiny statue can be gotten pretty cheap . . Like $50 cheap if you are patient and look on ebay every now and then . . .

It was originally like $200 . . and the sculpt is really nice . .. I have one . . . :)

I have the Destiny, Sandman Arabian Knight and 10th ann. as well as the Kaine and Able bookends and they are all detailed and beautiful. I love the original Sandman. I still remember the $100 price tag and almost pulling the trigger on it. $100 was a lot of money then. Harlan Ellison was bragging about his on a show he had on Sci Fi network when it was brand new. I was blown away that there was a tv show about comics (it was about all forms of science fiction, but I only paid attention to the comic stuff)

I recently saw a couple of the Kelly Jones Batman statues that was the 1st or 2nd statue right behind the orginial Sandman. They were $700 and $900 and that is cheap. You never, ever see either of of them for sale.

I really like that Rose Red and may get the Snow White just because of the low production run... :hm:

There's actually a couple of them on Ebay right now for a lot less than that

I just found out that the Rose Red statue is limited to 500 pieces . . .

I can't believe the edition sizes are this low . . . It will probably prevent them from making more but I have to think that the value will only go up . . .

The fanbase is getting bigger and bigger . . . everyone I give the first trade to is hooked . . .

This will be interesting to watch . . .

That's a great statue . . . why the sale ? You need the room or just wanted a change ??

Well, I never really had a nice area to display it in my old house, so it just kind of sat around undisplayed. Once we moved, I decided to sell instead of hauling it to the new house. It was always getting dusty and looked faded, like the one in the picture. I'm really not much of a statue collector, anyway.

Bigby & Snow is limited to 400 . . very hard to find and regularly sells for aroud $300

Rose Red was just released recently, is limited to 500 and you should be able to get it right now for $150 shipped . . . (retail is $199)

If the fan base grows though 500 is not a big number . . . :thumb:

Let me check around a little . . . I think if you are patient you should be able to get one for $30 -$50 dollars

But really there are some pretty nice statues you can get for the same amount that are full size . .

The 10th Anniversary statue sells for that same amount :

I think it was $65 or $75 new. I haven't watched the market at all, though. I'd really like one since the full size has spiraled out of control price-wise, and I have a nice Kelly Jones page with an image very similar to the statue.

Where, pray tell, can one maybe get a Bigby/Snow or has that ship sailed?

Ebay or a private seller . . .

I scoured the internet looking for this a few months ago . . I wanted it as a gift for the little lady . . . I ended up having to go the Ebay route myself . . .

If you can get it for $250 you got a good deal . . . There is more appeal to this than the Rose Red statue and there are less of them . . .

I kick myself for not pre-ordering when I had the chance . . . I figured I would be able to get it cheaper later . . . I never expected the ES to be 400 . . . that is insanely low for a full size production piece . . .

The statue is nice and big also . . I will try to post a comparison pic . . .
