A thought so nice, he posted it twice.

Seriously, they'd slab anything.

If your magazine cutout comes back graded a 6, a sharp pair of scissors will make that bad boy a 10 in no time!

BGS (beckett grading services) is the most recognized card grading service. Next to that would be PSA which is also recognized. The rest of them are crap. BGS does offer a lower end service called bccg, you see alot more gem mint 10's from bccg. A pristine mint 10 from bgs is rare. BGS also subgrades their categories, and has a seperate grade for autographs.

To me it makes a lot more sense to slab a card than a comic book. If you "slab" a card, you can still see it in it's entirety. You can look at the image on the front and flip it over and look on the back.

With a comic, you can never see the pages inside ever again unless you want to crack the slab.

Comic grading came after sports card and coin grading so it was a idea probably spawned from bgs due to the similar grading system.

Sports cards should be clipped to a bicycle with a clothespin so it rubs against the spokes of the wheel to make that cool motor sound.
